Fred Again, whose real name is Frederick John Philip Gibson, is a British multi-talented artist. He is a record producer, singer, songwriter, DJ, and multi-instrumentalist. He was born on July 19, 1993, and is also known by his stage names Fred again.. and FRED.
At the age of 16, Frederick John Philip Gibson became part of an a cappella group at Brian Eno's studio in London, where he collaborated with Eno and Karl Hyde on their two project albums. In 2014, he participated in the Red Bull Music Academy in Tokyo, Japan. Gibson achieved great success in 2018 when he co-wrote George Ezra's song "Shotgun," which topped the charts for 12 consecutive weeks. He also co-wrote "Solo" by Clean Bandit featuring Demi Lovato and Rita Ora's song "Let You Love Me." In 2019, Gibson wrote and/or produced 12 out of 15 songs on Ed Sheeran's No.6 Collaborations Project, which remained at number one on the charts for 14 weeks. In 2020, he became the youngest producer ever to win the Brit Awards' Producer of the Year title, which was voted for by a group of industry-wide A&R executives and selected by the Music Producers' Guild.
