      Massive Attack Background

Massive Attack is made up of three members: 3D, Daddy G, and Mushroom. 3D’s real name is Robert Del Naja, Daddy G is actually named Grant Marshall, and Mushroom was born as Andrew Vowles. Although Mushroom has left the band, his work with them together represents some of their best music. The three members met as members of The Wild Bunch, which was a group of musicians on the Bristol club scene in the 80s. From there, they decided to band together and create music that stood out at the time. The band has had its ups and downs, but their music has always remained consistently popular.
