Diana Ross, is an American singer and actress. Known as the "Queen of Motown Records," she was the lead singer of the Supremes, Motown's most successful act of the 1960s and one of the best-selling girl groups of all time. The group remains the highest-charting female group in history, with 12 number-one singles on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100. After leaving the Supremes in 1970, Ross launched a solo career with her self-titled debut album.
She went on to release 26 studio albums, including Touch Me in the Morning (1973), Diana (1980), and Swept Away (1984). Several of her singles, including "Ain't No Mountain High Enough," "Upside Down," and "Endless Love," topped the Billboard Hot 100, making her the most successful female solo act in the U.S. at the time. She continued to achieve global success into the 1980s and 1990s with hits such as "I'm Coming Out" and "When You Tell Me That You Love Me." Ross also gained recognition as an actress, earning an Academy Award nomination for her portrayal of Billie Holiday in Lady Sings the Blues (1972). She starred in Mahogany (1975) and The Wiz (1978) and later appeared in television films like Out of Darkness (1994) and Double Platinum (1999). In 1976, Billboard named her the "Female Entertainer of the Century."
She has sold over 100 million records worldwide and remains the only female artist to achieve number-one singles as a solo artist, part of a duet, a trio member, and in an ensemble. In 1988, she was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame with the Supremes and is among the few performers with two stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Throughout her career, Ross has received numerous honors, including a Special Tony Award, the Kennedy Center Honors, two Grammy Lifetime Achievement Awards, and the Presidential Medal of Freedom.

The Rasmus is a Finnish rock band formed in 1994 in Helsinki, while its members were still in upper comprehensive school. The original lineup included Lauri Ylönen (founder, frontman, and lead singer-songwriter), Eero Heinonen (bass), Pauli Rantasalmi (guitar), and Jarno Lahti (drums). Lahti left the band in 1995 and was replaced by Janne Heiskanen. Heiskanen departed in 1999, with Aki Hakala stepping in as the drummer. In 2022, Pauli Rantasalmi left the band and was replaced by guitarist Emilia "Emppu" Suhonen.The Rasmus gained international fame with their 2003 hit single "In the Shadows," which helped them sell over 5 million albums worldwide, including 350,000 in Finland alone. The band has won multiple awards, both domestically and internationally, solidifying their place in rock music. Rod Stewart, also known as Sir Roderick David Stewart, is a British singer and songwriter who has sold over 120 million records worldwide. Born in London to Scottish and English parents, he has had a successful career spanning over five decades. Stewart has had 10 number-one albums and 31 top-ten singles in the UK, and 16 top-ten singles in the US, with four reaching number one. He was knighted in 2016 for his services to music and charity. Starting his career as a busker with a harmonica in 1962, Stewart joined several bands before establishing himself as a solo artist.
His music is a mix of rock, folk, soul, and R&B. His third album, "Every Picture Tells a Story", released in 1971, was his breakthrough, with its ballad "Maggie May" topping the charts in the UK, US, Canada, and Australia. Stewart's albums regularly topped the charts in the Netherlands throughout the '70s and in Sweden from 1975 onward. He has had a successful career interpreting the Great American Songbook and has been inducted into the US Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice.
